Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Azerbaijan People Poet academic Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s collection of poems has been published in a book form by the famous Turkic scientist, head of the Eurasian Institute of Turkic Studies, UNESCO Adviser on Central Asia Professor Professor Eunkyung Oh into Korean by translating from Azerbaijani to Korean.

The book, published in Seoul's “Munji” publishing house, includes poems by Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh's "Gulustan", "Istiglal", "The Thrown", "Martyrs", as well as selections from poems written by the poet in different years. The book also provides extensive information about the poet's life and work.

PhD in History Nazim Mustafa, Doctors of Philology Vagif Sultanli and Badirkhan Ahmadov had great contribution to the development of the book.

Bakhtiyar Vahabzade's collection of poems is the first book translated from Azerbaijani poetry to Korean.
