Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

By the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS has published the book "Quality of life in Azerbaijan - 2018".

The scientific editor of the book is the director of the Institute of Economics, Professor Nazim Imanov.

The authors of the publication are Professor Nazim Imanov, PhDs in Economics Parviz Hasanov and Bahruz Ahmadov. The consultants are - corresponding members of ANAS Akif Musayev, PhDs in economics Allahyar Muradov and Rasmiyya Abdullayeva.

The book reflects the findings of the first study carried out at the Institute of Economics for a comparative assessment of the quality of life in the economic regions, subordinate cities and administrative regions of Azerbaijan. The assessments were based on the Quality of Life Index (HMI) prepared by the Institute's experts. The study covers eight economic regions of the country, 61 republican subordinated cities and administrative districts.
