Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A book has been published reflecting the history of creation, lines of activity and scientific activity of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS (LRSC) over the past five years. The book "Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS (2015-2020): Successful Results, New Challenges" is devoted to research activities carried out in the center in accordance with state policy.

The reviewer of the book is Director of LRSC Professor Farman Guliyev, and the compilers are members of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union Sarraf Talibov and Azer Guluzadeh. The editor of the publication is Sarraf Talibov.

The new publication reflects the results of scientific research conducted under the supervision of Professor Farman Guliyev in accordance with the State Programs for the Development of Tea Production and Citrus Fruit Growing in our country. Meanwhile, extensive information is given on the regionalization of 4 new types of tea and their use in production, breeding new varieties of lemon and mandarin.

The article by Professor Farman Guliyev “Development Prospects and Future Goals of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS” defines the main directions of the Center’s future activities, including the main tasks set by the state and the ANAS leadership to scientific organizations.
