Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book dubbed “Nizami Ganjavi and Esotericism” was published by a leading researcher at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS PhD in Philology Khuraman Hummatova.

The scientific editor of the monograph is PhD in Philology Sirajaddin Haji, and the reviewers are PhD in Philology Zahra Allahverdiyeva and Lala Alizadeh.

The book analyzes the thoughts of the XII century Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi about Sufism, as well as the esoteric knowledge hidden in his verses. In the monograph, the ideas of the Islamic religion and its holy book “The Quran” are considered as the main factor of Nizami’s creativity.

The philosophical and ideological views of the era of the master, his deep knowledge in Sufism and the use of this science in Masnavi are confirmed by factual materials.
