The monograph “Literary and Cultural Environment of Karabakh (second half of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century)” was published by a senior researcher at the Persian Manuscript Research Department of the ANAS Institute of Manuscripts, PhD in Philology Sabina Ahmadova. The scientific director of the publication is academician Teymur Karimli, scientific editor is PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Azizagha Najafzade, and the author of the “Preface” is Professor Yagub Babayev.
The monograph contains essays on the word masters who grew up in the literary environment of Karabakh in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. In separate essays, the works of poets, writers and publicists born and raised in Karabakh were examined.
The essays presented in the work are dedicated to leading figures in the literary environment of Karabakh at that time, such as Gasim bey Zakir, Sadi Sani Karabakhi, Mir Mohsun Navvab, Khurshudbanu Natavan, Novbari, Hasanali khan Karabakhi, Abdullah bey Asi and others.
