In the first quarter of 2020, 6 papers of scientists of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS were published in journals included in international databases.

Thus, the paper co-authored by scientists of the institute together with well-known scientists of the international scientific centers "CIMMYT" and "ICARDA" was published in the 2nd issue of the journal "Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution" published by Springer. The study is devoted to the study of genetic diversity of egilops populations in Azerbaijan on the basis of DarTseg and SNP markers.

The paper, prepared by scientists of the Molecular Cytogenetics Department of the Institute together with experts from the Hungarian Agrarian Research Center, was published in the first issue of the journal “Cytogenetic and Genome Research” and deals with the molecular cytogenetic analysis of soft wheat hybrids with triticale.

The other 4 published papers were prepared relying on the results of dissertations of doctoral students of the institute.
