From all corners of our homeland, as well as from abroad, President Ilham Aliyev receives letters of thanks for the important activities carried out by the head of state during the coronavirus pandemic to protect the health of the population of the republic and improve its well-being, as well as eliminate this disaster with the least loss of our people.

The letter to the President of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, Doctor of Law, Professor Habil Gurbanov, to the President says:

“Dear President!

Your efforts to save our people from the pandemic of the coronavirus that has swept the whole world, as well as your instructions and appeals to citizens in connection with the protection against infection, are very pleasing to us. Unlike most countries suffering from coronavirus, there is no economic crisis in Azerbaijan, even new social projects are being implemented, which is another proof of the economic and financial stability of our republic. We, the Free Trade Union of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, support your instructions aimed at caring for citizens in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), including the payment of funds in the amount of 190 manat to registered unemployed persons, as well as providing financial assistance to entrepreneurs, provision of benefits in payment of utilities, etc. Closely rallying around you, we declare that we will always be with you. Mr. President, we are confident that thanks to your wise and far-sighted policies, the unity of the people and government, we will successfully overcome this historical test, and once again we will prove to the whole world the power of our state. May Allah bless you, your family and our people.”
