Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Department of the History of Press and Journalism of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS has published the second volume of the collection “Issues of the History of Press and Journalism”.

The scientific editor and author of the “Preface” of the publication is the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli. The compiler of the book is the head Department of the History of Press and Journalism, Professor Vugar Ahmad, the reviewers are Professor Jahangir Mammadli and PhD in Philology Gulbeniz Babayeva.

The second volume begins with a paper by academician Isa Habibbayli entitled “Press Factor in the Development of Literature.”

The book contains such papers by the Institute’s scientists as “Journalism in the Edebiyat Newspaper”, “Azerbaijan Holiday is a Celebration of Azerbaijani Literature”, “Secret Signatures of Haji Salim Sayyah”, “Artistic Work of Haji Ibrahim Gasimov”, “Journalism Ali Ildirimoglu”, “Subjects and problems in the memorial heritage of Ahmad bey Agaoglu”, etc.
