Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Central Scientific Library of ANAS (CSL) presents the works of a prominent Azerbaijani poet of independence period Ahmad Javad and works written about him in electronic format.

It should be noted that the book “Folk Songs”, compiled by the translator and publisher Mirzazadeh, is stored in the Central Scientific Library. The book was published in 1919 in Baku in the electric printing house "Iran". The book contains poetic works by G. Zardabi, A. Sahhat, M. A. Sabir, M. Hadi and other poets. Among them is the anthem of Azerbaijan, written by Ahmad Javad. The words of the anthem are given in a book entitled “Veten marches” (“March of the Homeland”) with the signature “JAMO bey” (Javad AkhundzadeH Muhammadali oglu).

The book, published in the alphabet based on Arabic graphics, is stored in the Oriental Literature Fund and is included in the electronic catalog of the Central Library.
