Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Professor Ramazan Gafarli, head of the Dede Gorqud Department of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS took part in the second online conference “Development Trends in the Field of Interdisciplinary Research and Experiments”, which was held in the USA (Manhattan, New York).

In the section, which was attended by 22 representatives from five countries, the scientist made a lecture on “The Place and Position of “Dede Qorqud” and Among the Epics of the World”. The lecture aroused great interest.

Also, a 40-minute lecture by R. Gafarli entitled “Structural and semantic features of the majestic literary monument of the Turkic world - the epic “Kitabi Dede Qorqud”” was included in the program, which will be broadcast in early May on a private television channel in Turkey owned by İKSAD.
