Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Geography Societies of Azerbaijan and Russia signed an agreement on cooperation in Moscow, Russia.

Contract was signed by the director of the Institute of Geography of National Academy of Sciences, president of Azerbaijan Geography Society, academician Ramiz Mammadov, President of Russian Geographical Society (RGS) Sergei Shoigu.

The agreement between the two communities will give an opportunity to conduct joint research and expedition work, hold international meetings and conferences. The works are going be ensured by the fund established by board of trustees of RGS.
