Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientists of the Institute of Economics of ANAS - Professor Isa Aliyev, Doctor of Economics Seyfaddin Samandarov and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Yashar Mammadov's book "Promınent World Economists" (History of Economic Thought, Part I) has been published. The publication is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Economics.

The scientific editor of the book is professor Irshad Karimli, the reviewers are professors Dunyamali Valiyev, Agarza Rustamov and Doctor of Economics Fuad Ganbarov.

For the first time, the book contains short biographies of ancient world thinkers and renowned representatives of economics since the 16th century, as well as materials about their environment, major scientific works and scientific provisions.

The new publication will serve as a useful resource for economists, bachelors, masters, doctoral students, as well as those interested in economics.
