On June 17, employees of the Plant Ecology Laboratory of the Institute of Dendrology of ANAS visited the expedition in Buzovna settlement of Khazar region.

During the expedition, air, soil temperature, relative humidity and radiation background were measured to assess the impact of environmental factors on new species introduced into the newly planted parks, as well as finological observations were made on plants, samples were taken from plant leaves and chlorophyll was measured to study photosynthesis.

Note that the staff of the Plant Ecology Laboratory over the past 3 years has focused research on the impact of climate and soil conditions, water scarcity and climate change observed in recent years on the newly introduced species. Both phenological observations were carried out in the field, as well as physiological and biochemical analyzes in the laboratory by using modern equipment in the research process.
