Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the scientific creativity of the prominent Arabic linguist Abul-Gasim Abdur-Rahman bin Ishaq az-Zajjaji was held at the Manuscripts Fund of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

The event was opened by the director of the foundation, Doctor of Philological sciences Farman Khalilov, who provided detailed information about the life and activity of Abul-Gasim Abdur-Rahman bin Ishaq az-Zajjaji.

Then, Kubra Valiyeva, a researcher at the foundation, delivered a lecture on "Prominent Arabic linguist Abul-Gasim Abdur-Rahman bin Ishaq az-Zajjaji and his scientific work." She clarified a number of issues of Arabic grammar in the works of the linguist and drew attention to the original scientific considerations.

Afterwards, discussions were held on the topic and numerous questions were responded.
