Doctor of Philology, Head of the Department of Theoretical Linguistics Idris Abbasov visited the institute on July 1, 2020 at 12:30. During the working day, Idris Abbasov met with employees and said his health was normal.

Idris Abbasov, who posted a status on his personal Facebook page on July 2, said that he had certain health problems. Immediately, the director of the institute, academician Mohsun Nagisoylu, and deputy director for science associate professor Baba Maharramli had a telephone conversation with Idris Abbasov. He said he did not need any help and his condition was still normal.

Today, the first vice-president of ANAS academician Isa Habibbayli talked on the phone with the head of the department Idris Abbasov at 10:45 and was especially interested in his health. The issue of Idris Abbasov's health is focused by ANAS.

The leadership of ANAS states that all kinds of material and moral assistance will be provided to Idris Abbasov.
