The article, co-authored by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for Technologies, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, Head of the Department of the Institute, ANAS corresponding member Ramiz Aliguliyev and PhD Shalala Tahirzadeh, was published in the journal "Hyperconnectivity and the Internet of Things", which is published in the international publishing house "IGI Global".

The article “Architecture for Big IoT Data Analytics in the Oil and Gas Industry” proposed a multi-level architecture. Also, to improve the quality of production processes in the relevant industry, the Internet of things technologies and their application issues were studied.

The article was prepared as part of a grant project funded by the Scientific Fund of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
