An online presentation of the monograph "Ali Sabri Gasimov: Life and Creativity"

An online presentation of the monograph "Ali Sabri Gasimov: Life and Creativity" by Honored Scientist, Professor Husein Gashimli was held in the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

Opening the event, director of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature of the department, corresponding member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev spoke about the life and work of the outstanding scientist Huseyn Hashimli. He said that Professor Huseyn Hashimli, who lived for only 55 years, was the author of about 30 books and monographs, more than 340 scientific works and hundreds of newspaper articles. He studied the issues of literary criticism on the basis of archival materials and samples of literature published in old editions, while investigating the stages of development of the literary environment of Nakhchivan and its diversity.

Speaking with a report “A few words about the monograph“ Ali Sabri Gasimov: life and creativity ”, Abulfaz Guliyev emphasized that among the outstanding representatives of the intelligentsia, brought up in Nakhchivan in the XX century, a peculiar place belongs to the writer, translator, publicist and public figure Ali Sabri Gasimov. His novels, novellas and stories, hundreds of literary-critical and journalistic articles, translations of samples of literature from various nations do not lose their value to this day. Since the multifaceted activity and versatile creativity of the outstanding representative of the intelligentsia were not systematically and in detail studied, Professor Huseyn Hashimli published the results of his long-term research in the form of a monograph "Ali Sabri Gasimov: Life and Creativity."
