A book by the employee of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Art criticism Banovsha Rzayeva “Ululu Karim (life, creativity and works)” has been published.

The editor of the publication and the author of the "Preface" is Doctor of Philology, Professor Mahmud Allahmanli.

The book says that Ululu Karim, associated with the rich traditions of the ashug environment of Iravan, Daralayaz, Darachichek, Nakhchivan, Goyche, made an invaluable contribution to ashug creativity with his innate talent. Bayati, gerayli, goshma, baglama, divani etc. created by him create the effect of a high artistic sample. Ululu Karim, as a folk poet, played an important role in enriching the ashug environment of Nakhchivan. His masterful poetic samples and masterpieces are proof of this.
