“Investigation of genocides against Azerbaijanis” commission which established by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated October 15, 2014 held regular assembly at the main building of ANAS.

Vice-president of ANAS MP acad. Isa Habibbayli opened the assembly and stated that, it is necessary to create scientific sections over various directions in order to organize the work of the commission at the modern demands. Decided to create following sections: “The history of genocides against Azerbaijanis” (headed by corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov), “Policy of genocide against Azerbaijanis” (headed by Professor Musa Gasimli), “History of the deportation of Azerbaijanis” (headed by doctor of historical sciences Karim Shukurov), " History of the genocide against Azerbaijanis in documents” (headed by prof. Atakhan Pashayev), “Genocides against Azerbaijanis in literature and art “(headed by acad. Isa Habibbayli),"Genocide against Azerbaijanis on the Internet “(headed by acad. Rasim Alguliyev).

Action Plan of the commission for 2015 was discussed in the assembly and decided to hold international scientific conference entitled “Tragedies of genocide against Azerbaijanis” history and modern views”.
