Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Institute of History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has published the book "Implications for the regional security of the resettlement of Armenians to the lands of Northern Azerbaijan."

This work, as well as "The Irevan Khanate: Russian Conquest and Resettlement of Armenians to the Lands of Northern Azerbaijan" and other fundamental studies, was written in response to the calls of President Ilham Aliyev.

The book was published by the Public Association "Historians of Azerbaijan" Public Union (PUAH)) within the framework of a project funded by the Council for State Support of Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The authors of the book are the director of the Institute of History, academician Yagub Mahmudov and the head of the department "History of Karabakh", associate professor Guntekin Najafli. The work was published by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of History, its technical editor is the chairman of PUAH, associate professor Mehri Khanbabayeva.
