Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

December 12, held “Formation and development of the national innovation system in Azerbaijan” Republican scientific-practical seminar at the main building of ANAS organized by Science Innovation Center.

Scientists and Specialists in the field of innovation, representatives of the ministries and committees took part at the event.

Azer Namazov, center's director, PhD in law, opened the seminar. Purpose of scientific-practical conference is international exchange of experiences in the formation and management of the National Innovation System (NIS), necessary works done in connection with the execution of its sub-systems, he noted.

A.Namazov emphasized need for corresponding methodological basis of the development of innovative activity in the country to modern conditions and developing innovation based new mechanisms of economic development.

“Innovation policy concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “Formation and development program of the National Innovation System” projects prepared by the center he led scientists notified he.

Professor Farman Gasimov made a speech on “Evaluation of innovation activity of scientific research and educational institutions”, Professor Tabriz Aliyev on “Methodological aspects of the development program of innovation in the industry” and PhD in biology Tamraz Tamrazov on “Condition of innovative technologies in Azerbaijan”.

The reports were discussed, questions answered.
