Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The monograph "Nakhchivan in the Azerbaijani policy of Safavid, Afshar, Russian and Ottoman states" (first half of the XVIII century) by the head of the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, Ph.D. in History, associate professor Ilhami Aliyev, has been published.

The research work for the first time studies the place of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan in the foreign policy of Azerbaijan Safavid and Azerbaijan Afshar states in the first half of the 18th century.

The monograph covering the years 1700-1747 summarizes the scientific results obtained by analyzing and comparing the facts obtained. At the end of the work, a brief overview of it is given in English.
