Employee of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Ph.D. in Philology Leman Suleymanova's monograph "Tanbur performance and hayla creativity" has been published.

The book is dedicated to the performance of tanbur and hayla performing, which are widespread in Zagatala and Balakan districts. The monograph talks about the life and work of 98 tanbur performers, 30 halay performers, and 20 balaban performers, and provides information about 43 tanbur songs. It was also tried to create an idea about the development of the tanbur, audience of the tanbur, tanbur poems etc. At the end of the publication, 12 tanbur notes were given, and pictures of performers were added.

The editor of the book published by "Science and Education" publishing house is Doctor of Philology Afzaladdin Asgar, the reviewer is Ph.D. in Philology Ilkin Rustamzadeh.

The publication is intended for students of philological faculties of universities, researchers, folklorists, ethnographers and musicologists.
