Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A video conference was held between Institute of Physics of ANAS and Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, Deputy Minister Elnur Soltanov, Adviser to the Minister Javid Abdullayev, Assistant Minister Rauf Rzayev, Sector Director of the Ministry Jahid Mikayilov, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy Tabriz Ammayev, Director of the Institute of Physics of ANAS, academician Nazim Mammadov Deputy Director for Innovation and Transfer, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ayaz Bayramov.

Ayaz Bayramov delivered a lecture on "Development of advanced thin-layer technologies at the Institute of Physics of ANAS" at the video conference. He gave a brief overview of the current state of thin-film solar cells, spoke about the creation of new types of solar cells at the institute and future plans.

Afterwards, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and academician Nazim Mammadov exchanged views on the topic and discussed opportunities for collaboration.
