Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

As is known, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 2, 2013 on the establishment of “Presidential Award for Youth” 14 young scientists by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS were submitted for “Presidential Award for Youth”.

December 10, 2014 in a meeting of the Presidium of ANAS young scientists, presented the award, were awarded the Diploma of ANAS.

Note that in order to enforce the relevant Presidential Decree of the Presidium of ANAS September 26 has been established Expert committee for the election of young scientists nominated for the Presidential Award.

After extensive discussions, a special commission recommended the Presidium of ANAS to nominate four young scientists for the award.

After discussion by the Presidium of ANAS a list with the names of four contenders for the competition “Presidential Award for Youth” was submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.

Presidential contenders for the competition awards were – Nigar Ismayilova, PhD in engineering sector chief of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, Narmin Rzayeva, researcher at the Institute of Control Systems, Kamala Nuriyeva, researcher at the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature and Elnur Hasanov, researcher at the Ganja branch.

The award consists of a monetary award in the amount of 10 thousand manat, diploma, certificate and badge.
