Institute of Folklore of ANAS hosted for commemorative ceremony devoted to Great Azerbaijan Leader Heydar Aliyev’s 11th anniversary of death. At first participants remembered memory of national leader for a minute of silence. The event was opened by director of the institute corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov, who told about Heydar Aliyev's great merits. H. Aliyev's decree “On the hold of 1300-year anniversary of the epos “Kitabi-Dede Gorgut” dated April 20, 1997, and also the organization the number of scientific and cultural events at the level of UNESCO, devoted to this epic by initiative of the national leader has played an important role in the development of Azerbaijan folklore. Then chairman of Council of young scientists and specialists of the institute, PhD in philology Nail Gurbanov made report on “Heydar Aliyev's youth policy”. At the event reported PhD in philology Elkhan Mammadov, Adil Jamil,Nizami Muradoglu,Ghalib Sayilov and others.
