The participation of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS in the 73rd International Astronautics Congress, which will be held in Baku in 2022, was discussed at the next online meeting of the Scientific Council.

Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute academician Rasim Alguliyev noted that during the elections to the General Assembly of the International Federation of Astronautics in the US capital, Washington, Baku, Baku received the right to host the International Astronautics Congress, which will be held in 2022.

The scientist noted that the federation, which includes 398 members from 68 countries, is the most prestigious international organization in the field of space. The International Astronautics Congress, held in various countries since 1950, is the main event of the organization. During the congress, participants will have the opportunity to follow current trends and the latest innovations in the field of space.
