Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On November 21, 2013 held the meeting with the chairman of Presidium of Academy of Sciences of Republic of Belarus the academician Vladimir Gusakov. 

The event was attended by president of ANAS Akif Alizade, Vice President, academician Ibrahim Guliyev, Academician-Secretary, Corresponding member of ANAS Rasim Aliguliev, executive director of the Science Development Fund under AR President Elchin Babayev and Head of International Relations Gulam Babayev.Having noted that cooperation expansion in various branches with our country is one of priorities of Belarus, the guest reported that for this purpose the delegation under the leadership of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is on a visit in Azerbaijan. Having reported about preparation by institute led by him,of the program of development of academies of Sciences,V.Gusakov noted that in the document found reflection actual scientific branches of the modern period, questions of increase of material welfare of scientists, and also personnel preparation, etc.

V.Gusakov reported about interest of National academy of Sciences of Republic of Belarus in creation of cooperation with ANAS in scientific and technical area and put forward offers for joint innovative researches in this area.

Academician Akif Alizade noted that as a result of development of cooperation between academies of Sciences of two countries and Fund of basic researches of Republic of Belarus, since 2007, important scientific results were received.

Having told about great attention of the state to introduction of high technologies and creation in Azerbaijan to the space industry, to A.Alizada noted advantages of use of opportunities of space programs in scientific researches. Importance of carrying out joint research projects for both organizations was noted.
