Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Recently has been held IX International Forum of scientific and creative intelligentsia by Moscow Humanities Council of the CIS and Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund (IHCF).

Representatives of education, science and culture of CIS member states, as well as Azerbaijani delegation took part in the forum.

“Commonwealth of Debuts” international prize was established by the CIS Humanitarian Cooperation council and the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation in 2008.

This year, the award has been given for scientists and researchers in the field of “Ecology and environmental protection”. Employee of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, PhD in biology Akif Orujov also deserved the award. He was awarded for the achievements in the field of ecology.
