Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The silver key of Shusha fortress is kept in the Weapons and flags fund of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan of ANAS.

The key was taken as loot during the Russian occupation of Shusha, removed from Azerbaijan in various ways and given to the Caucasus Museum of Military History, opened in 1888 in Tbilisi (Georgia).

The key to the Shusha fortress is made of silver and decorated with gold and silver threads. This key preserved in the museum is important for the research and promotion of the history of Shusha.
