As a result of 44 days of fighting, the victorious Azerbaijani army liberated Karabakh and surrounding areas from Armenian occupation. Infuriated by this, the enemy, in keeping with tradition, leaves our territories, causing fires in Karabakh and surrounding areas, forests, as well as polluting our rivers. Such rivers cannot be used for agricultural purposes because they poison the soil and plants. Experts say the waste dumped into the river is very dangerous.
The head of the department of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS, doctor of geological-mineralogical sciences, professor Musa Mammadov spoke about the ways to prevent poisoning in rivers and said that as a result of some elements toxic substances are neutralized and rivers are still useful.
