Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

“Selfless” film dedicated to First Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Academic Khoshbakht Yusufzadeh’s 85th anniversary presented at Nizami Cinema Center on January 9.

State and government officials, MPs, scientific and cultural figures participated at the event.

A two-part documentary film is based on the essays in Khoshbakht Yusufzadeh’s “Traces of life” book.

The film’s scriptwriter is Eldar Iskenderzadeh and produced by “SOCAR-Media” Public Association on the order of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.

Academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh’s biography is an interesting story about Azerbaijan’s oil epopee. “Selfless” film attracts interesting moments of his life. The film has been shot at legendary Oil Rocks, in different parts of Baku, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Pirshagi and Buzovna settlements.

The director of the film is Vasif Mammadzadeh, operator Rafik Guliyev, consultant Khalik Mammadov.
