Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An event was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS on the occasion of February 2 - Youth Day.

Within the framework of the event, the winners of the Republican Olympiad on geology and geophysics "Step into the future" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of ANAS were awarded. The ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Scientific Organizing Committee, Academician Akper Feyzullayev, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Associate Professor Orhan Abbasov, Scientific Secretary of the Organizing Committee Aysel Jabrailova, as well as young finalists and winners of the Olympiad.

Speaking at the meeting, Academician Akper Feyzullayev congratulated the youth of Azerbaijan on this significant day and wished them success in their scientific and creative activities. Informing about the competition, the scientist said that a new improved version of the Olympics is being considered in the future.
