ANAS Institute of Architecture and Art held scientific workshop titled as “Azerbaijan mugham study: from past to the future”.

Opening the workshop chief of Mugham study department, Dr. Study of art Sevil Farhadova spoke about the mugham phenomena and state care to this valuable opulence. Being one of the amazing creative areas of a human talent, mugham aimed to establish mutual understanding and harmonious social relations among the peoples by means of its philosophy, aesthetics, and world of images.

It is not random to hold workshop on the eve of “Mugham sypmpsium”, stated S. Farhadova and provided information on activity directions of newly established Mugam study department in the institute, challenges in this area and done fulfillments to prevent them.

Lectures were delivered in the event: Rana Mammadova on “Some aspects of the analysis of Azerbaijani mugham”, Dr. Study of art Sehrana Kasimi on “XIX century Azerbaijan mugham ceremonies”, Gorkhmaz Alilijanzadeh on “New theoretic vision to the historical roots of mugham” etc.

Lectures to be included into “Azerbaijan mugham study: challenges, prospects” bulk that would be published recently, have been delivered and discussed as well.
