A session dedicated to Science Day was held at the Institute of Literature

The Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS hosted a scientific session on "Azerbaijani literature of the independence period: achievements and tasks" dedicated to March 27 - Science Day.

Opening the session, the vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli congratulated the people engaged in science on the significant day and gave detailed information about the work done in the enterprise in recent years. The academician said that three volumes of the ten-volume history of literature have already been published, and seven volumes are planned to be published in 2021.

Then, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor Alizadeh Asgarli congratulated her colleagues and made a report on "The theme of independence in Azerbaijani literature." Deputy Director of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Aygun Bagirli gave detailed information about the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi in Azerbaijan and the activities of the Institute of Literature" and spoke about the work done and planned. The head of the department of literary theory, doctor of philological sciences, professor Tahira Mammad made a report on "Literary theory at the modern stage" and noted that the department has six doctors of sciences and four internationally recognized doctors of philosophy, who are responsible for publishing “Poetika.izm” journal...
