The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS was held in online format on March 27.

Opening the meeting, Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the Scientific Council, Director of the Institute, Academician Irada Huseynova congratulated the members of the Council on the occasion of March 27 - Science Day. The academician noted that on April 9, 2018, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the establishment of "Science Day" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the importance of science in the development of society, and since then Science Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan. This date is of special importance because it coincides with a significant time for the country - the day of the establishment of ANAS.

Academician Irada Huseynova also noted that a series of events will be held on the occasion of Science Day.
