The Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after N.Tusi of ANAS organized a series of seminars dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the World Aviation and Cosmonautics Day.
Teachers, students and pupils of Baku, Shamakhi and Lankaran secondary schools, including the Western Caspian University and Khazar University, took part in a series of events on April 9-12.
The seminars provided interesting information and new knowledge about space flight and space. The reports of the observatory's employees, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Adalat Atai, Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy Gunel Bahaddinova, as well as scientists Aynura Hasanova, Amina Humbatova, Nargiz Taghiyeva, Aynur Abdulkarimova and Sarkhan Bagirli were met with great interest by the participants.
In the interactive seminars, the observatory staff and students and pupils exchanged views on space.
