ANAS Institute of Folklore hosted for the meeting with delegates of the Scientific-Methodic Center for Culture study of AR Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov spoke about cooperation ties between center and the institution led by him.

In a meeting was decided to establish new legal base for cooperation development.

Director of the Scientific-Methodic Center for Culture study, prof. Vilayat Ismayilov stated that, as a result of collaboration between two parties, folklore tourism has began to attach importance for the country.

Later on, memorandum of cooperation was signed by M. Imanov and V. Ismayilov.

Pursuant to existed legislation and both Charters, the memorandum aims at studying national spiritual values, cultural heritage and folklore patterns in order protecting, encouraging, and developing the national non-material cultural heritage as well as improving folklore tourism, and organizing of joint events.
