Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On February 12, ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center (SRSC) held an extraordinary general assembly.

Yusif Shukurlu, PhD in physics-math, senior lecturer, director of SRSC, provided detailed information about activity of the center and upcoming tasks for 2015.

Charter of the SRSC and the Statute of the Scientific Council have been discussed and adopted in accordance with new Charter of ANAS. Professor Firedun Ibrahimov, PhDs in Biology Farhad Azizov, Zarbali Khalilov and others reported in the assembly.

Research works conducted in the departments of SRSC and working plans of researchers’ works approved by ANAS for 2014-2020 have been asserted relying on modern development directions.

Event also approved Action Plan dedicated to People poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s 90th jubilee.
