Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Meeting was held to improve the educational process by organization of the Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, February 13, 2015.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Education, Dr. Chemistry Omar Gulalov, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, PhD in physics Famin Salmanov, PhD students and candidates for degree of the scientific institutions.

Speaking at the meeting, head of the Office of Science and Education, Dr. Engineering Aminaga Sadigov noted that in recent years, ANAS discussed important issues regarding education and adopted a number of important decisions.

Reporting on the reforms and structural changes A.Sadigov spoke about the activities carried out in this area. He noted that the Council of young scientists and specialists of ANAS should play a leading role in improving education in ANAS.

The event discussed the improvement of the educational process in ANAS, ensuring the integration of science and education, establishing the master of studies in the academy, as well as to attract talented young people to master's and doctoral education in ANAS.

The meeting also exchanged views on the elimination of problems in the process of education in ANAS, ensuring transparency in the examination and resolution of problems faced by PhD students and candidates for a degree in the publication of scientific articles.
