ANAS hold chain of events on the 23rd anniversary of Khojaly genocide.

In this regard, ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and Experimental – Industrial Plant held commemorative events.

Director of ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center, PhD in physics-maths Yusif Shukurlu made speech on fabulous atrocities committed by Motorized Rifle Reignment N 366 of USSR army on February 26, 1992 in Khojaly, Karabakh conflict, the crucial problem of the country, atrocities committed by Armenian vandals during occupation of a portion of Azerbaijan territory and human casualties.

Prof. Firedun Ibrahimov delivered a lecture on “Khojaly is a crime against mankind”, PhD in geology Huseyn Mustafabeyli on “Khojali – grief of nation”, historian-scientist Habibullah Manafli on “Khojali genocide pursued against our nation by Armenian-Russian alliance”, Gunel Musayeva on “We will never forget Khojaly”, and Yusif Rahimov on “Khojaly in mind” were listened in the event.

Informing on the bloody tragedy Prof. Misir Mardanov, director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics stressed out that, only after national leader Heydar Aliyev’s return to power in Azerbaijan, genocide has been legally assessed.

Event at Experimental – Industrial Plant commenced with documentary composed of footages shot by National Hero of Azerbaijan Chingiz Mustafayev.

Reporting in the event, director of the organization Vasif Abbasov named Khojaly tragedy as a terror act pursued against civil population of Azerbaijan.

Finally, employees of the Experimental – Industrial Plant pilgirmaged the monument erected for memory of Khojaly victims.
