By joint organization of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History and “Icherisheher” State Historical and Architectural Reserve was held “Without Khojaly” commemorative event dedicated to 23th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy, on February 25.

Director of the museum acad. Naila Valikhanli highlighted the tragedy as one of the bloody crimes in the history of mankind. Fabulous atrocities committed by Motorized Rifle Reignment N 366 of USSR army locating in Khankendi, Nagorno-Karabakh, on February 26 in Khojaly.

Legally assessed by national leader Heydar Aliyev, Khojaly tragedy is being promoted in the world by merits of President of AR Mr. Ilham Aliyev and all thruths of the genocide delivered to the world, she noted.

Deputy Director of “Icherisheher” State Historical Museum of Icherisheher” State Historical and Architectural Reserve, Honored Art worker Gulnar Aliyeva, member of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union poet Zarangis Mansurova stated that, this terror is the cruelest stage of genocide policy pursued against Azerbaijan people by Armenians in latest 200 years.

Supervised by Larisa Tarusova, member of the Azerbaijan Theatre Figures’ Union, “Gunay” children’s studio performed “Answer me” play written on cognominal work of Z. Mansurova in the commemorative event.

Finally, musical patterns devoted to Khojaly tragedy were performed by children's music school N 26 named after M. Magomaev.
