“Azerbaijani literature of XX century: phases, directions, problems” by scientific secretary of ANAS Literature Institute, scientist-literary critic, Dr. Philology, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadov, was released in the “Elm ve tehsil” publishing house.

Edition analyzes phase and challenges of XX century literature. Research covers literature of the period of the national movement in Azerbaijan and its realism, romanticism, enlightenment realism, literature of the People republic, sosrealism and stages of the 60s years, nature of the literary process, prose, poetry, development paths of drama, as well as the genesis of repression, immigration and a legion literature.

Monograph portrays academic, theoretic and conceptual view for century’s literary process, phase and challenge classification.
