 The electronic conference hall of the Institute of Literature of ANAS hosted creative meeting "Literary process - 2014". The event was opened by the vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Isa Habibbeyli, who said that were carried out periodically creative meetings on literary process in the institute he chaired for 1976-1984.

It was pointed out that, year before the creative workshop "Literary process - 2013" became one of the most significant events in the Azerbaijani literary. Thus, Creative meeting in the format of "Literary process" was founded at the Institute of Literature, before 31 years ago in 1984. "The literary process - 2013" is important as the first creative meeting dedicated to the period of independence of Azerbaijan literature, he noted.

Speaking at the event, secretary of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, chief editor of "525th newspaper" Rashad Majid highlighted the rapid development of the Institute of Literature in recent years. He appreciated the attention I.Habibbayli’s care and attention to young scientists and noted the expediency of amending the format of creative workshops and publication of the reports prior to the event.

The next speaker was Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union Ilgar Fahmi, who noted that in recent years there has been significant progress in Azerbaijan literature, in which Institute of Literature plays an important role.

Head of criticism and journalism SPA Besti Alibeyli spoke about the importance of the concept of periodization of training of Azerbaijani literature. Praising the processes observable in the Soviet literature, B.Alibeyli noted the formation of a theoretical framework criticism.

During the event were presented reports on the lyrics, drama, criticism, literary criticism, novels of the year, short stories, novels, children's literature, southern literary process, etc.
