Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Polymer Materials of ANAS held the next meeting of the Academic Council, on March 3, 2015.

Director of the institute, academician Akif Azizov opened the event and informed about the issues on the agenda.

Then acting secretary of the institute, PhD in chemistry Solmaz Rzayeva provided information on research programs recommended by the Presidium of ANAS, the results of admission to doctoral training program in 2014, improvement of the rules for admission for doctoral exams, as well as the expansion and effective coordination of international scientific relations, etc.

The meeting announced the names of employees nominated by the Awards competition named after academician Yusif Mammadaliyev and a gold medal named after Nizami Ganjavi. In the competition for the Gold Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi was unanimously nominated corresponding member of ANASMustafa Salahov and Award named after academician Yusif Mammadaliyev - corresponding member of ANAS Yavuz Rustamov.
