Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

TransTech was delighted to host a recent visit to the UK by Dr.Babayev, the Head of Innovation Azerbaijan’s National Academy of Sciences.

During his visit, TransTech introduced Dr.Babayev to a number of the UK’s premier technology transfer and investment experts at the Universities of Oxford, London and Manchester.

At Oxford, TransTechintroduced Dr.Babayev to Professor Graham Richards, CBE who discussed technology transfer with Dr.Babayev and then gave a tour of Oxford University’s Chemistry Research Facility. Oxford’s Chemistry Faculty remains the world’s largest.

As a result of the mutual visits and analyses Memorandum of Understanding was signed on international commercialisation of intellectual property, technology transfer management and venture capital fund management. The Document was signed by V.Babayev on behalf of the ANAS, and Mr. Richard Henderson on behalf of TransTech LLP, an MTI Ventures Company.

Dr.Babayev presented an oil painting to Professor Richards of an oil pumping unit in Azerbaijan, which was received with much gratitude.
