"Herbs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” book developed by the employees of the Institute of Bioresources was presented at ANAS Nakhchivan Branch.

Opening the ceremony chair of branch, acad. Ismail Hajiev appreciated the book in terms of studying new herbs of Nakhchivan. Book was discussed in the Academic Council of the above mentioned institute, and published by the decision of Nakhchivan Branch Presidium dated May 1, 2014, he stated.

Book endorsed by the Decree of Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 17, 2014, released pursuant to “Action Plan connected with 90th anniversary of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”.  Noted that, scientific editor of the book developed by director of the Institute of Bioresources, acad. Tariyel Talibov, is corresponding member of ANAS Elshad Gurbanov.

Then, teacher of Botany chair of the Nakhchivan State University, PhD in Biology Hilal Gasimov delivered a lecture on “Descend contribution for 90th anniversary of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”.

Making speech in the event, deputy director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archaeology of the Branch, corresponding member of ANAS Gadir Gadirzadeh and leading researcher of the Institute of Bioresources, PhD in Biology Zulfiyya Salayeva highlighted the significance of the book.
