The next online meeting dedicated to the participation of scientific institutions of ANAS in the exhibition to be held on April 8 within the framework of “Teknofest Azerbaijan” Aviation, Space and Technology Festival was held.

Acting President of ANAS, academician Arif Hashimov, vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Working Group on participation in the “Technofest Azerbaijan” festival of ANAS, academician Rasim Aliguliyev, head of the Department of Affairs of ANAS,  Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Elton Mammadov, technical manager of the center established in connection with the festival “Teknofest Azerbaijan” Nasir Mahammadvand, head of Expo Solutions Group Jeyhun Manafov, as well as general directors, executive directors, scientific secretaries of scientific institutions who submitted proposals to participate in the exhibition. Authors of technological-innovative products, as well as relevant representatives  office of  Affairs Department and Information Department of the Presidium.

Opening the event, Acting President of ANAS, academician Arif Hashimov noted that the meeting was dedicated to the monitoring of initial drafts of proposals submitted by ANAS and discussion of the implementation status of the exhibition to be held within the “Technofest Azerbaijan” Aviation, Space and Technology Festival.  He noted that the projects to be presented by the scientific institutions of ANAS, which will take part in the exhibition within the “Technofest Azerbaijan”, are important technological innovations, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating competitive, intellectual technological products as a result of long-term research at the Academy.

Academician Arif Hashimov expressed confidence that these projects will be of great interest to the participants of the exhibition and wished success to the institutes and organizations participating in the exhibition.

Then, the vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Working Group on participation in the festival “Teknofest Azerbaijan” of ANAS, academician Rasim Aliguliyev spoke about the measures taken to represent the scientific institutions of the Academy at a high level.  He noted that relations have been established with various organizations.  He noted that the Academy will be represented by projects proposed by 5 institutes of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS and 5 residents of the High Technology Park of ANAS in the pavilion allocated as a result of the great trust shown to ANAS at this prestigious event.

Academician Rasim Aliguliyev noted that the working group of ANAS regularly held discussions and monitored the work done in connection with participation in the exhibition.  He defined the structure and concept of the pavilion of ANAS, which will take part in the exhibition, its adaptation to the set requirements, technical parameters, etc.  He stressed the importance of accelerating work in this direction.  According to the scientist, the products and projects presented at the Academy will be displayed at the exhibition for four days.

“The PR policy of ANAS in this direction should be adequate to the ongoing processes in the country”, he said, noting that the organization of issues related to the participation of ANAS at the exhibition at a high level is also important. Academician Rasim Aliguliyev noted that the preparation of press releases, reports and interviews and their translation into various foreign languages ​​is one of the important issues for the wide coverage of the innovative activities carried out at ANAS, the great intellectual potential.

Then, representatives of scientific institutions, presented proposals for participation in the exhibition.

General director of the Institute of Control Systems, academician Ali Abbasov, head of the Department of Liquid and Gas Mechanics of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS Geylani Panahov,  General director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS Islam Mustafayev, head of  the Department from the Institute of Information Technology, Corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Mammadova, leading researcher of the institute, Phd in engineering, associate professor Fargana Abdullayeva and leading researcher of the institute, Phd in engineering, associate professor Lyudmila Sukhostat, executive director of the Institute of Biophysics, doctor of biological sciences Karim Gasimov, Petrochemistry general director  of the Institute of Processes, academician Vagif Abbasov,  general  director of the High Technology Park of ANAS, Phd in economics Vasif Abbasov, as well as residents of the Technopark - general director of the Science and Technology Park LLC Zahir Nasibov, BEYT LLC  executive director Emil Ahmadov, founder and head of Proline Chemicals LLC  Vugar Hasanov, director of the Experimental-Industrial Plant Vasif Abbasov spoke about the technical requirements of the projects to be presented in the pavilion dedicated to ANAS.

Then the scientific secretary of the service of the vice-president of ANAS, associate professor Hikmet Guliyev spoke about the draft decision made by the Presidium of ANAS on the participation of ANAS in the exhibition to be held on March 11, within the "Technofest Azerbaijan" Aviation, Space and Technology Festival.  He reminded that an Action Plan has been prepared.  He noted that the preparations for the exhibition were carried out in three directions - before, during and after the exhibition.  The scientific secretary said that they were actively working with the responsible bodies and persons of the Festival, noting that the work on the development of the power supply scheme and general concept of the pavilion of ANAS was completed.  Hikmet Guliyev said that both physical products and virtual projects will be demonstrated by ANAS at the exhibition.  He added that a staff of officials from the Academy will take part in the pavilion dedicated to ANAS and they will be registered in a special system created by “Teknofest Azerbaijan”.

He said that the work to be done on the provision of computers and monitors is reflected in the overall concept.  He also noted that the PR work related to the participation of ANAS in this prestigious exhibition will be organized at a high level, reports consisting of photo and video materials will be prepared.

The head of the Office of Affairs of ANAS, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Elton Mammadov said that certain tasks were set before the department headed by the Academy for participation in the exhibition, a special group was formed under the working group to implement the issues arising from the draft decision.  Elton Mammadov said that the department is working on all issues related to the construction and technical requirements of the pavilion and consultations are being held.  He noted that the Office of Affairs will support the implementation of all tasks assigned to it promptly and at a high level.

Then the head of the Information Department of the Presidium of ANAS, Phd on philology Agahuseyn Shukurov said that photo and video shooting groups, correspondents were identified and meetings with project managers were organized in connection with the participation of ANAS in “Technofest Azerbaijan”. He noted that press releases prepared before and during the exhibition will be distributed to the press.

In conclusion, academician Rasim Aliguliyev noted that important issues were touched upon at the meeting, a clear picture of the implementation status of projects was obtained, as well as material and technical and other requirements for the participation of ANAS in the exhibition were identified.
