Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

University Shahid Beheshti in Tehran hosted the international conference dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Naser Khosrow, Iran on May 10-13, 2015.

Our country at this prestigious event presented by the Director of Institute of Art, Language and Literature of Nakhchivan department, corresponding member A.Guliyev, who spoke on Nasser Khosrow Allavi’s "Pilgrimage to Mecca "Safarname" work and comparative analysis of the works of Khagani Shirvani, written by him on the theme of the trip to Mecca".

It was noted that, Nasser Khosrov's works are read with interest in Azerbaijan, and in the nineties of last century "Safarname" work was translated by Tahir Maherramli and published in Baku.

A.Guliyev also presided over the plenary session of the international conference.

Conference brought together 150 delegates representing various countries of the world.
