Academician Arif Hashimov reviewed material and cultural samples found by the staff of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology

On April 18, the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology organized an international conference on “Mammadali Huseynov 100: actual problems of South Caucasus archaeology” at the main building of ANAS.

Before the event, the Acting President of ANAS, academician Arif Hashimov, as well as scientists from Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries have reviewed material and cultural samples found during recent archaeological research conducted by the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology.

It should be noted that the conference will end its work on April 19.
